As its name suggests, the footer appears at the bottom of your application screen. You can place function buttons in the footer if the function is essential, or if a prompt feedback is required.

  Keep the following guidelines in mind when designing your footer:

• Include up to 3 function buttons.
• Use the Menu pop-up to give users access to more than 2 function buttons. The Menu pop-up should appear when the user touches the hardware Menu key on the device.
• Include a Cancel button to quit the current task. Usually, the Cancel button is provided with a confirmation function, such as Save, Done, or Send.
