Tizen Running Everything...And Everywhere: Upcoming Tizen Labs, Hack-a-thons and Events
Tizen developers, and those eager to learn more about the open source platform, will have plenty of opportunity for hands-on instruction around the world this fall.
From San Francisco and Bangalore to Tokyo and Edinburgh, the events are a great chance for mobile and HTML5 developers to find out more about the technical details, architecture, and building blocks needed to develop Tizen solutions. Developers will also be able to hack away, socialize, learn and possibly create prize-winning apps, of course, by entering the Tizen App Challenge offering just over $4M in prizes.
Respected for its ability to run a variety of web applications on multiple devices, these events will feature Tizen-based in-vehicle infotainment systems, tablets, and smartphones--basically anything where an HTML5-friendly, open software ecosystem is optimal.
So, whether your passion is software development, building apps or you merely want to see a demo, be sure to check out the schedule below. Is there anything we forgot? Are you running a community event that’s not listed here? Feel free to comment and we’ll spread the word within the Tizen community and beyond.
