We've had an awesome response to the Tizen App Challenge so far.  It's great to see so many apps going into the Tizen Store!

We're down to the final weeks of the contest, so we wanted to talk a little bit about how apps will be evaluated.  In other words, how you could win!

As you know by now, there are nine categories in the Tizen App Challenge.  Each one has one grand prize, two runner-up prizes, and three honorable mentions.  We've been over those before, but you can find a refresher here.

But what does it take to win in each of these categories?  Well, this infographic helps explain how winners will chosen.

All entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges who are experts in software development and technology innovation. Each judge will evaluate your app according to the questions you see in the infographic below, listed in order of importance.  Not surprisingly, the No. 1 question the judges will ask for games is: “Is it fun?”

There’s bonus prize money for HTML5 apps too. The top 10 HTML5 rated apps across all categories will be eligible for an additional $50,000.

Remember, there's still plenty of time to enter your app in the Tizen App Challenge.  You can also continue to update your app right up until the end of the contest, as long as your content ID doesn't change.
