Gear S2 Companion Application with custom device communication

Hello,

We want to communicate with an custom hardware over BLE using Samsung Gear S2. First I tried standalone type of application but I have stuck there. Here is the URL : https://developer.tizen.org/comment/19671#comment-19671 

Now we are planning for an Companion application where in we will be having an Mobile app and Wearable application. 

The concept is to use Samsung Accessory Protocol for communication between both. The Mobile app will communicate over BLE with custom hardware and send data to Wear. Also Wear application will have some parameters selected by user and send that to Mobile application. This mobile application will send to custom hardware.

I want to know if this scenario and type of application development will be possible technically.

Also will a single Android application be able to act as an Provider and Consumer for SAP?

Hi,

I think that it's possbile as mobile application will working as a main functionality to communicate with custom hardware.

Please see HelloAccessory sample which has provider and consumer for android application.
