Tizen Emulator is very, very slow on Mac OS X

I have a Mac OS X with the following configuration 8 GB RAM and 250 GB hard disk space. I installed the Tizen SDK 2.0 today and having really  hard time with the emulator launch. Even if the emulator launch is successful, the user interaction is really slow. It already supports HW virtualization enabled. Should I have to do anything or did I miss anything during installation (installation was through Tizen Install Manager), so that I could speed up the Emulator launch time as well as
response to user interaction ?

Hi, Does your computer support EPT virtualisation? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_Page_Table#Hardware_support ) I use Core i7 on Windows 7 and it works more or less.. Regards, Roman

Hi, Try enabling the HW virtualization and GPU to enabled state in the emulator manager of the emu and then launch it and check. While installing the 2.0 sdk, did it ask for you to install HW accelerator, it should be installed if not there already in your system. Refer to http://127.0.0.1:3018/help/topic/org.tizen.gettingstarted/html/dev_env/emulator_hardware_virtualization.htm for more details on it

While launching the emulator, try enabling the Hardware acceleration feature. Theoretically this is supposed to speed up the emulator.

I manually installed the Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (HAXM) on my MacBook then turn on the hardware virtuallization for the emulator, now it seems the Tizen emulator is slightly faster but still much slower than it runs on Windows. The Intel HAXM for MacOS can be found here: http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-hardware-accelerated-execution-manager Hope somebody can make it better.
