On Device GPS Testing

Has anyone seen the GPS position on the device update?  The devices that I have all repot a location in South Korea and ever update.

Hi, To get GPS information(location updates), you might have to install corresponding gps and location drivers. http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.0/latest/repos/main/armv7l/packages/armv7l/ : refer to this link for the drivers.
I tried to install following packages but they are already installed :) gps-manager-0.2.25-1.1.armv7l.rpm location-gps-manager-0.2.25-1.1.armv7l.rpm

Hi Pushpa, Could GPS working in emulator, how to install GPS driver in emulator.What are the gps driver need to install. Let us know. Thanks,

Hi simoun, Its not needed to install GPS drivers for emulator, However, you can go to menu->settings->Location->Enable GPS and Network position, and there is a sample app in Tizen IDE->File->New->Tizen Native Project->Sample->LocationManager, import this sample into your IDE Project explorer, then build and launch it, and send the latitude and longitude through event injector present in the IDE(Event Injector->Location->Map or Manual , Inject and see the output in the emulator

In Tizen 2.2 it shows 51.2322 6.7469 Which is Düsseldorf in Germany If this is license issue http://www.tizenportathon.com/bada/board/technicalSupportDetail.do?seq=482&pageIdx=2&pageSize=10&searchBd=null&searchTxt=null why its not distributed like Mali driver?
