Sockets / UDP / TCP in wearable SDK (GEAR S2)

Hello,
Is there any option how to support with wearables Tizen SDK standard sockets in native application (we are doing app for GEAR S2 and this is blocking for us)? I need to send UDP SSDP packet, but there is no way how to do that, since on the platform is only libcurl.
Am I doing something wrong? Is there any workaround? Are sockets planned? Why we do not have thjem integral part of the platform?
