I can't compile a service app on Samsung Gear S2 (Wearable 2.3.1)

Hello.

I can compile normal native app, but can't compile a service app on Samsung Gear S2.

Why all service app can't build in Gear S2?

I can build on emulator with same code (New -> Tizen Native Project -> Service app) and get right result.

But when I run in Gear S2, I get this message

"Starting the application on an emulator has been canceled."

Other native app can be run on Gear S2.

But only service app can not be run now.

Hello,
Please try doing the following things.
1. Close the IDE and go to the drive where tizen sdk is installed. 
2. Delete all folders in the tizen-sdk-data->keystore and create certificates again.
3. Delete all the logs in the tizen-sdk-data->sdk-manager-log.
4. Delete all the files in the tizen-sdk-data->ide->logs.
5. Delete all the things inside tizen-sdk-data->emulator->vms.

Note: step 5 will delete all the emulators. try installing the service app in the target device before creating any emulator again.

I ran service app by using your response.

But I can still not run native service app and get same result.

My normal native app(has UI) can be run.

but all native service app show this message, "Starting the application on an emulator has been canceled.".

I can't understand why my Gear S2 is not able to run native service app....

In that case, keeping the IDE closed open the update manager. Go to the Installed Packages tab, select the wearable version exactly same to your service app version, for example select the 2.3.1 wearable if the api-version in the manifest file is "2.3.1". Then select the emulator expanding that. Remove that and install it again.

Umm...

I tried your response.

I can't run native service application yet.

I can run native service app on virtual emulator.

But my Gear S2 show me "Starting the application on an emulator has been canceled." error when I run native service app that same code.

In addition, my Gear S2 can run native ui app.

Now I'm very confused....

I think you'd better check your target architecture.

In case of emulator, it uses x86 as target architecture and it is a default setting.

But when you build it for real device, you need to check and change your target architecture (usually ARMv7-a) on your project property.

if you go

`your project's property > C/C++ Build > Tizen Settings`

you can change target architecture on the Platform tab for each your build configurations (Debug/Release).

I have to compile ARMv7-a when I run my application on Gear S2.
