asm.js support in Tizen?

Is there any asm.js support in the Webkit browser for Tizen 2.x which ships with the Gear 2?   Will there be asm.js support in Tizen 3.x following the switch to Crosswalk?

I think the answer is probably NO based on the performance we are seeing for WearableC64 (https://wearablec64.wordpress.com/), which is a huge shame, because the hardware itself is very capable, but it appears that we are blocked from accessing that CPU to its full potential by the combination of only the HTML5 API being exposed in combination with the browser technology being sub-optimal.

I _think_ that all the work on asm.js has happened within Gecko (Firefox) and Blink (Chrome), and Trident (IE) and Webkit (Apple) have been left in the dust.   And then Samsung have been stung through "picking the wrong horse" between Webkit and Blink.

It appears that there is at least partial WebGL support on the Gear 2 (https://developer.tizen.org/forums/web-application-development/webgl-support-samsung-gear-2), although two months later still nobody from Samsung can be bothered to reply to my simple technical question on their own forum.

**** ARE PEOPLE GETTING REPLIES FROM SAMSUNG TO TECHNICAL QUESTIONS VIA BUG TRACKING SYSTEMS OR OTHER MEANS? ****

So we're probably good on the GPU side, but there is a void on the CPU side, from what I can see.

Does anybody know how to check for asm.js support at runtime?   Some JS expression or check?

Cheers,

Bob Summerwill, Kitsilano Games

You get many help on bug tracking system... You have never (only on weekend) long to wait for answer on bug tracking.

asm.js doesn't currently.
