log view is empty when using actual device ? emulator works fine

Hi,

Im using tizen studio 2, with gear s3 tizen 3, I just noticed that log view is always empty when running app in the device (watch and regular app)

How to fix this ?

Hello Tizen is me,

I've also checked with Gear S3, Gear Sport, Samsung Z2, Z4 (all with Tizen version 3.0) and faced same scenario as yours. I think you should report it as a bug into bug tracker here in this link. Also please share bug report link here in this post once you submit it as a bug. It'll help others to keep track.

You must launch tested app in Debug mode then you will see all logs.

Ah maybe thats it, the problem is for watch face, it seems not working properly in debug mode,

the screen is always black, BTW in emulator just using run in app, the log still comes out

I've tried to launch app in Debug mode using Debug As option but still not getting any Log. Would you please guide me if I'm missing something?

Hello Tizen is me and K Jhonson,

Sorry, there was a bug to parse the log message in tizen_studio 2.0 device manager.

This issue was reported already and we will fix this bug in our next release. (Tizen Studio 2.1)

For temporary solution, you can use tizen studio 1.3.

I'm using Tizen Studio 2.3 and this is still not fixed. I dont see any logs when debigging on the physical device, but when I run it on the emulator, it works fine. 

Congratulations to all Tizen OS and Tizen Studio developers for doing such an amazing work.
