Did you try with View installed packages option uncheked according to the image attached below?

pat burn

Yes View installed packages is uncheked and device manager is not there.

That's really very strange! Would you please try with a re-installation in different workspace? Also please make sure to avoid any kind of network interruption while downloading.

I have the same issue on Linux Mint 18.2. All prerequisities are satisfied, re-installation  did not help. Need some help please.

Would you please check Tizen Studio installation directory in your PC whether the tools directory inside it contains a folder named device-manager or not? Also please check from Tizen Studio and try launching device manager from Tools->Device manager. Does it give any error saying, "Device manager is not installed or the installation path is invalid"?

You may also check for device manager in the deprecated section of package manager instead of Baseline SDK section.

I had the same issue and tried to run device manager using command line. I ran into this error:

  1. Error: Could not find or load main class org.tizen.device.manager.Main

So I googled the issue, came to this thread .

Turns out, I had installed Open JDK prior to installing Tizen Studio. Tizen Studio didn't alert me to this on installation but it looks like it needs Oracle JDK. I installed it, and now I'm able to run Device manager.
