Why creating TIZEN native applications, and Tizen accept Android applications??

Hi,

I'm a BADA developer, I want to change to Tizen, but I know that Tizen accept android applications, so it's important to change all my android application to Tizen?

Android applications will be 100% compatible?

In the future it's recommended to use Android, or native app Tizen, Why?

Sorry for disturb

Thank You

Hi, afaik there are 2 solutions for Android apps: Infraware PAG: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/infraware-develops-android-to-tizen-game-and-app-conversion-technology-to-boost-tizen-ecosystem-203176641.html OpenMobile ACL: http://openmobileww.com/products.php

that's mean that no directly compatibility of android application in tizen devices? you must convert your app to be compatible with tizen?

Both solutions are based on a Dalvik clone. Tizen + Dalvik = Android, so apps are not really "converted" imo. We'll probably have more info in the coming weeks ;) Infraware is a Korean company so I suppose they are backed by Samsung.

Infraware has probably read this topic ;) http://www.dailymarkets.com/stock/2013/05/20/infraware-brings-expertise-in-emerging-tizen-platform-to-tizen-developer-conference-2013/

"The current (Infraware PAG) implementation is based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, so that means none of the ICS and up only apps, will be available" http://thehandheldblog.com/2013/05/23/android-apps-on-tizen-polaris/
