tv avPlayer and audio tag to play at same time

Hi, 

 

We are using AvPlayer API to play our video. We want to play an audio along side the video. However as soon as i play the song, the video stops. Muting the video also has the same effect, the AvPlayer and audio don't seem to work at once. Is there a way to make this work?

I also tried adding a video through <video> tag, but it is either audio or video experience. 

Please help!

Anyone know if only being able to play a single audio stream at a time is a technical limitation of the Samsung Tizen firmware?

A bit more on the issue (I work on the same project as the original poster) that we've found.

Here are 2 scenarios that were tested and the associated behavior:

A) Play video that has audio using AvPlay. (video player and audio stops on playing secondary audio source)

1. Start video player. Video is playing and audio works.

2. Start secondary audio source (FeedFM).  Video player goes black and the audio associated with the video stops.

 

B) Play video that does not have audio using AvPlay. (no issue).

1. Start video player. Video plays.

2. Start secondary audio source (FeedFM).  Video continues to play and secondary audio source plays.
