[RECONSIDER] [BUG] manifest.xml Version limited to 35.35.1295

Hi,

Just a bug report: manifest.xml Version property cannot be incremented in Tizen Property Editor beyond 35.35.1295 (Ubuntu 32-bit, SDK 2.2). So, somewhat surprisingly, for example version 1.50.0 cannot be created. Expected behavior would be in line with, say, Windows MSI ProductVersion property limit of 255.255.65535.

I guess feature support is only restricted to that limit.

IMHO, the Tizen team should reconsider this microsoftian "it's not a bug, it's a feature" approach. The versioning range of 0.0.0 to 255.255.65535 is an absolute industry standard, I don't think I have ever seen it limited in a mobile platform before. Restricting version numbers to 35.35.1295 will cause build cross-referencing problems for multi-platform development (version control, branching/merging/tagging, etc.) as well as complicate basic technical support for customers using multiple mobile platforms, in the spirit of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). Please fix this issue. It - somewhat - gives Tizen the impression of a platform that is technologically undeveloped. Gary
