Lost my .p12 in a HD crash. What can I do?

Hello,

I had a HD crash, and as a result, I lost my .p12 in the crashed HD, and am unable to update my games in the store anymore.

However, I've backups of my game projects, which have the .tpk for all the games that I submitted to the store.

Is it possible to recover my .p12 file from the .tpk file?

Please help me because I've already submitted 17 games ... :(

No body? I guess tizen doesn't have a lot of official support.

No, it's not possible.

A  PKCS #12 (P12) file contains a (private) key, which is used to generate a (public) signature for a TPK. A signed TPK contains a (public) signature, but cannot contain a (private) key used to sign it, since it would be vulnerable to a brute-force password attack against the (private) key itself and thus pretty much pointless.

Thank you Gary. I guess I'll never be able to update my uploaded games again. Is it possible to suspend the uploaded ones and create a whole new entry with a new p12, but keep the same name?

No idea, I would log into the Tizen Store and send that question to their support.

that's what I did, and their reply was ... 'we don't know, please come to this forum and ask'.

I'm not kidding you.

?!

LOL

You should be able to delete all products one by one (or have Tizen Store support do it) and re-create each one from scratch under the same publisher account and the same name, but with a new P12. I don't think products created with one P12 can be updated with another P12, do you can try to delete them altogether, just as well, since they are useless.
