How to set the PIN as Screen lock type?

Hi All,

We have below four options at Settings > Lock Screen and Security > Lock Screen > Screen Lock type in Samsung Z1.

  1. Swipe
  2. PIN
  3. Password
  4. None

How to set Screen lock type as PIN and set the PIN value in Samsung Z1 using security APIs available if any?

Hello,

I couldn't find API which can change the PIN value. but such method may  affect the security of phone and it should be hidden.

I think it's a system application, similiar the home screen (like the android home launcher). You can implement it if necessary. But, for security issue, such app won't open the api for application. :)
