What the future of tizen.Net?

What the future of tizen.Net?

As I am seeing there is not so much support for Tizen.Net. Samsung launched it with lot of pomises, but now I don't think they are serious about this.

There is no info how to upload the build on store .tpk build.

Please suggest I should continue working on this or I have to drop the idea?

I have no expensive TV... nor I have good reason to buy Galaxy Watch...

 

But here is chance to see actual status... in Tizen 4 SM-R8... series... Wearables:

And it looks like... Gear S3 series will get Tizen 4 update... maybe this year... or in 2019...

# Right Click on your Project/Solution > Clean then Build

# Right Click on your tizen project folder 'XXX.Tizen'  > Open Folder in File Explorer

# Check bin > Debug/Release > tizen40 (or your version) > 'xxx.tpk'

 

Try uploading the built '.tpk' file and let know if it worked out for you.

Not even able to debug the application on emulators using Visual studio 2017.

It's always throwing below error message in output window and terminate the debug:

=thread-selected,id="1"
Loaded '[vdso]'. Cannot find or open the symbol file.
Loaded 'linux-gate.so.1'. Cannot find or open the symbol file.
The thread 0x1 has exited with code 0 (0x0).
The program 'sdb.exe' has exited with code 0 (0x0).

We can build and upload the .tpk file by command with sdb,
sdb.exe install "path of you tkp"
But you can't debug it, just install and test, only on tizen 4.0 mobile emulator.
When I install tpk on TV emulator it does'nt appear.

I've tested on my environment, Seems the case is same here. Can't Debug Tizen .NET app.

 

I would suggest you to report an Issue on 'Tizen VS Extension tool repository', we might receive a response from them.
