webRTC

Hello,

I can't find any info about webRTC in the Tizen 4.0 API

https://developer.tizen.org/development/api-references/web-application

Could you add some info about this important topic, please.

A Tizen version of this document would be very helpful:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/WebRTC_API

Thanks

Hello,

I'm sorry but Tizen doesn't support WebRTC.

It just only supports officially the getUserMedia.

Therefore, there is no WebRTC releated document there.

Thanks

thanks for the reply

webRTC works in the Z4 browser

so Samsung should support it imo ;)

As futher explanation,

to introduce support of WebRTC officially, WebRTC has to work smoothly and stably on every Tizen product device such as Mobile, TV and so on.

However format decoder depends on H/W codec on each product, so we can't guarantee qualified service.

That's why tizen doesn't support it officially, although we did not deliberately restrict API regarding WebRTC.

Thanks

hope fully we reconsider this now or when 5G comes
