Still unable to install SDK on Windows 8

I have read most of the other posts on the forums so far about problems with installing the SDK with windows 8 and I have tried everything that was suggested:

- installing different java versions (6 and 7 both jre and jdk)

- disabled HyperV and installed HAXM
- setting the PATH variable to include both c:\windows\system32 and java (tried both jdk and jre)

- running the .exe that is on the download page as administrator

Note, I have not had any files appear in my appdata folder before/after/during attempted installation of the tizen sdk .exe file

- extracting the files from said .exe file and running the InstallManager.jar using the cmd

- downloaded the 'fixed' version of these files and trying the same java command (java -jar InstallManager.jar) within that file folder

When attempting this method I have several exceptions thrown which I have taken a screenshot of http://imgur.com/cWjD44u

Any recommendations as to what my next step(s) should be to get this SDK installed?

Edit: I tried from scratch on my windows 7 partition and have come with the same exceptions...

Hi Devon Jesse,

Unfortunately Tizen does not support Windows 8 as of now. For time being you can try using the Intel XDK, which supports Tizen.

Please refer http://software.intel.com/en-us/html5/articles/xdkdocs-overview-html5 for more details.
