“Socket Failed” error whilst trying to obtain an authors license

Hi Everyone!

I have been trying to obtain an authors license from Samsung, and everything it tries to generate a license I get a "Socket Failed" error, as soon as I try to log into my Samsung account.

Can anybody advise what I can do?

I also have same issue. "Socket timeout!" message occured when I try to generate new certification with my samsung account.

Please, with SDK... or Tizen Studio?

 

No idea if temporary problem... or SDK support is "obsolete"...

As Tizen Studio is now latest... Version 1.1

 

Also maybe interesting to know...

Mac or Windows... or Linux?

I have confirmed that this issue occurs in Tigen Studio 1.1 on macOS. And the same problem also occurs in Tigen Studio 1.02.  I created the certificate successfully in the same Tizen Studio - 1.1 and 1.02 both - last week.
And I've found that the same problem occurs on more than two different networks. It does not matter whether that network is behind the proxy or not.

I am having the same issue.  From what I can tell the certificate manager connectors dev.tizen.samsung.com, which is unresponsive on https and ping ports.

I'm having the same issue and have tried running Tizen Studio 1.1.0 on MacOS Sierra and Windows 10.

Does anyone know if Samsung monitors these posts? Looks like this is going on for 3 days with no official response from Samsung.

It looks like server problem is fixed recently.

Yes, it is fixed by now. I was able to create my author certificate 5 minutes ago.
