MTP USB Device driver failing to install

When i connect the LB device to the PC. The device displays a notification as "USB Connected". While on the PC it tries to install few drivers but fails to install the driver for MTP USB device.

The device is not detected In the IDE and also using "sdb devices" command.

The PC is running on Windows 7 and further checking the device manager for the "MTP USB device" properties, i get "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

I have tried to install the Samsung USB drivers as mentioned in JIRA https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TSDK-59. The result observed in the bug is same as mine.

Is there any update on this issue ?

Hi Girish,

When tried updating the Samsung driver from the mentioned location, i could see the device id info from the "adb devices" command. Initially in the device manager the MTP was installed and later after few mins it says Device cannot start and due to this behaviour i am unable to connect to SDK.

And fortunately, i can still use sdb commands and the device still listed when checked with "sdb devices" command.

Need to be confirmed on the SS USB driver stability.

The comments have been updated in the same JIRA and please follow JIRA for more instructions or resolution.

Thanks,

Raghavendra

Make shure that you have correct chipset drivers installed
