Hello Supreeth Kumar,

I was also getting the "device manager is not installed" message after installing Tizen Studio 2.0. Installing The Device Manager, Certificate Manager and Related tools from Tizen Package Manager solved the issue.

Install the Packages under Tizen SDK Tools > Baseline SDK

Seems the Device Manager (Connection Explorer) have a new look...

Hello,

I upgraded yesterday to Tizen 2.0 as well and I experimented the same problem.

After installing the packages under SDK Tools and I can now access to the Device Manager, but my TV (Samsung M5500) is not detected when I scan devices. I can add it manually with the IP and connect properly, but I cannot right click on the device to select any option, for example "Permit to install applications"... and I am receiving an error message "step SDB shell handle failed" when I try to run/debug any application on the remote device.

With Tizen 1.2 the TV was detected automatically and I was able to run and debug in the device without problems....

Any suggestion?

I have not tried self... too lazy.

But with every Tizen Studio update... also SDB Tool is updated...

Maybe this is "feature" or restriction of new SDB Tool...

Only idea...

Maybe check SDB from 1.3... this should be simple copy & paste test.

Latest SDB in Tizen Studio 2 seems 2.3.8

In 1.3 seem 2.3.6 ...

In theory some infos about changelog inside...

sdb_2.3.8_windows-32.zip

sdb_2.3.6_windows-32.zip

Also 64 bit and so on available...

You're Welcome. Good to know.

Connected Samsung Z3, Gear S2 and an emulator to my system. The Logs are shown in different tabs of 'Log viewer' in device manager. You can also add missing 'log tab' using the '+' button. (blue cirlce in screenshot)
