Abysmal Tooling - Cannot create new VM

I have to say that the tooling of Tizen is far below junk, that is to put it mildly. I'm running it on Windows 8 x64 with latest updates and high power ultrabook, latest haswell cpu, 8G RAM, the very best SSD of its breed. For that I can remember, I reinstalled the SDK about 10 times. Every a few days, the Tizen IDE will refuse to work - no Tizen specific stuff loaded, just plain old dull dumb Eclipse - which is stupid to begin with, it's such a damn IDE, bloated and slow, even with latest hardware, but that's another topic.  Thing is, I cannot create a new VM in the emulator manager - BTW, emulator-manager.exe will crash silently, i have to run emulator-manager.jar instead. It maybe a Windows 8 thing. But when I create a new VM, the "Confirm" button is grayed out. And the Base Image field is blank, after I chose the only .x86 file I could found on my laptop - bzImage.x86, the "Confirm" button is enabled, but when I click it, it's giving me this error

One would think, with such big names - Samsung and Intel behind, how can something this bad be allowed to be pushed out? Don't get me wrong, I'm fan of both companies, it's just that the Tizen SDK is beyond words.
