Viewing pdf files & odt files in tizen native app

Hi,
can any one explain about Viewing pdf files & odt files in tizen native application(Emulator).

Hi harish kumar kavali,

Unfortunately Tizen doesn't provide any preinstalled PDF viewer application and there is no plan to support, at this point of time. May be in future we may see APIs for viewing PDFs files in native app.

hi,
but tizen emulator is recognizing the file as pdf and it is also displaying acrobat icon . when i click the file it is showing "no application exists for this type of file".

Hi Harish,

To view PDF's you need to install third party software in your Tizen device as there is no preinstalled software for  the same. And as I said, as of now there is no api that you can use to view pdfs in your app. I mean you cannot create your own app that launches pdf files using api's provided by Tizen. So you need to wait untill those api's are out or atleast untill Tizen store opens for app downloads.
