Google Meet on Samsung Smart TV

Keen to know if anyone is able to provide any input on this:

Background: Samsung Slim Fit Cam (model VG-STCBu2K/XC) connected to Samsung 65" QN95B Neo QLED 4K HDR Smart TV (QE65QN95BATXXU) through a USB-C wired connection.

This 2022 Model TV running Tizen OS comes pre-installed with Google Meet. Samsung's Slim Fit Cam is designed to work only with Google Duo (now Google Meet) by default. Clicking on the updated Google Meet App opens up the old Google Duo, asking to sign in to Google Duo on phone. Android phones no more have Google Duo and the TV app as well as the camera is rendered useless.

What could be done?

Hello

Rachel Gomez

Learn how to connect a Google Account.
On your Samsung TV, open the Meet app .
Select Sign in.
On your Android device, open the Meet app .
At the top left, tap Open navigation menu Settings. Calling settings.
Tap Calling account TV sign in. Connect.
