Establish a connection with a Samsung TV through its RESTful API

Hello,
I have a Samsung Smart TV and I'm working on a remote app to monitor certain information from it. I connected to http://tv_ip:8001/api/v2/ and was able to retrieve some basic data.
My question is: is there a way to get details like the current volume level, the active HDMI input, and other similar info?
