certificate problem

I am trying to develop a Taizen app with Galaxy Watch,

The certificate manager has a problem with the certificate and asks you.

1. You have created a certificate profile for your Samsung account type. In the process of adding a certificate profile to use the same certificate profile on other development PCs,
There is a procedure to add an xml file. However, in the process of creating a certificate profile, the xml file has not been created, and there is no xml file in the Samsung account mail.
Please guide me how to use one profile on another pc.

2. I am using two Galaxy watch devices. When I named A and B arbitrarily, I created a tpk file using the certificate profile with only the A device DUID. This tpk file can not be installed with the sdb install command on the B device. Likewise, I created a tpk file using the certificate profile that added only the DUID of the B device, which can not be normally installed on the A device. I do not understand a little different phenomenon from the apk file created by signing in Android development. I made the certificate profile mentioned above
When I uploaded the tpk file to the Taizen store, I wonder if other people can download and install it normally.
If i have any mistakes, please ask for guidance.

If you are facing issues with the certificate manager while developing a Taizen app with Galaxy Watch, please follow the instructions below:

  1. To use the same certificate profile on other development PCs, you need to add an XML file to the certificate profile. However, if the XML file was not created during the process of creating a certificate profile, and it is not present in your Samsung account mail, please follow these steps:
  • Open the Tizen Studio IDE on the development PC where the certificate profile was created.
  • Go to the "Windows" menu and select "Preferences".
  • In the "Preferences" window, go to "Tizen Studio" > "Extension SDK" > "Certificate Manager".
  • Click on the "Export" button and select the location where you want to save the XML file.
  • Copy this XML file to the other development PCs where you want to use the same certificate profile.
  • In the Certificate Manager on the other development PCs, click on the "Import" button and select the XML file.
  1. If you are using two Galaxy Watch devices, A and B, and have created a TPK file using the certificate profile with only the A device DUID, you will not be able to install this TPK file with the "sdb install" command on the B device. Similarly, if you have created a TPK file using the certificate profile that added only the DUID of the B device, it cannot be normally installed on the A device. This is different from the APK file created by signing in Android development.

If you have made the certificate profile as mentioned above and uploaded the TPK file to the Tizen store, other people should be able to download and install it normally.

If you have any further queries, please feel free to ask for guidance.

When creating the certificate configuration for your Samsung account, an XML file is usually generated during this process and will be sent to your registered account email. If you don't receive the XML file, there may be a problem with the certificate generation.
To work around this, I recommend checking your email, including your spam or spam folder, to make sure that the XML file hasn't been accidentally filtered. If you still cannot find the XML file, you should contact Samsung developer support or Samsung Developer Forums for further assistance on how to obtain the missing XML file or resolve the issue.

To use a certificate profile on another development PC, you need to export the certificate and import it into the other PC. Here are the general steps:

On the PC where you created the certificate profile, open the Certificate Manager.
Select the certificate profile you want to export. Gilbert Bachelorette Party Limo Service
Click on the "Export" button and save the certificate file (.p12 or .pfx format) to your desired location.
Transfer the certificate file to the other development PC, either through a USB drive, email, or any other convenient method.
On the other PC, open the Certificate Manager and click on the "Import" button.
Select the certificate file you transferred and provide the necessary information to import it.
Once the certificate is imported, you should be able to use the same certificate profile on the other PC.

You won't be able to use the "sdb install" command to install a TPK file on the B device if you are using two Galaxy Watch devices, A and B, and you created the TPK file using the certificate profile with only the A device DUID.

Make sure the XML file hasn't been mistakenly filtered by checking your email's spam or spam folder. Contact Samsung developer support or the Samsung Developer Forums for further phrazle information on where to locate the missing XML file or how to fix the problem.

Hello there,

See in my opinion for sharing a certificate profile across multiple development PCs, the XML file is necessary. If it wasn't generated during the profile creation, please double-check your Samsung account email for any missed attachments or instructions.

Also, TPK files generated with a specific device's DUID are tied to that device. Ensure you're using the correct profile for each device. Uploading to the Tizen Store should allow normal installation for others. Check for any mistakes in your profile setup and deployment process.

Hope this will be helpful.

Regards.
