I've the same issue. make sure you Insert the following drivers net/bluetooth/bluetooth.ko rfcomm.ko l2cap.ko hci.ko and needed layers driver/bluetooth/btwilink.ko In the user space run uim for setting the baudrate and tty After this 'hciconfig -a' should list the host device. USB bluetooth works fine. BT_USB in kernel config. I doubt uim is the problem , it says 'st_register failed' when btwilink.ko is inserted.
