Tizen OS version on Gear Fit 2

As you know, Gear Fit 2 (GF2) device information does not tell you the Tizen OS version.  For my watch the software version (firmware) is R360XXU1BPK6.

Can someone please tell me:

1- How can I find the Tizen OS version installed on my GF2?

2- Can it be upgraded and how?

Thanks in advance!

Did you treid SDB connection?

Try for instance first:

sdb capability

This is undocumented SDB Command... spit out little overview if supported from device...

You can try Google:

R360XXU1BPK6

Or if SDB work you can check few files...

Forgotten which one... later more...

Okidoki.

Gear Fit 2 aka SM-R360 support this sdb command:

sdb capability

So it looks like... like Tizen version 2.3.1.6

Now check your Gear Watch... and compare...

I have no idea what is the latest Version...

Thaks Peter,

All I know about Gear Firmware is... only rare Versions leaked.

I mean Full Versions for Odin update...

Most leaked versions are only for money available...

:(

I will try to search little bit through Internet.

Maybe I can find newer Version, or maybe R360XXU1BPK6 is "latest" Version...

Btw. if you use your Firmware as search string, you will find what I mean...

R360XXU1BPL1 looks newer...

Example for Odin Firmware... looks like this:

AP_R360XXU1BPL1_usr.tar.md5
BL_R360XXU1BPL1_usr.tar.md5
CSC_OXA_R360OXA1BPL1_usr.tar.md5

And now the lastest version I received is: R360XXU1CQB1

I would be great to get images of any of the BPxx versions or this one.

Still same situation for all Gear Wearables...

Samsung hide as much as they can their Firmware...

But their are enough leaked Firmwares in Internet... Full Images for Odin.

BUT you need luck, friends or friends with luck or you pay money... to get these packages...

This s u x x x... but you can only catch the FOTA packages...

No idea if you are friend of Samsung R&D...

Maybe if you begging long enough...

Support for all commercial devices are "unter aller Kanone"...

and also for Reference Devices...

Von Samsung kriegste n S ch... EIS.

Tizen = Open Source

Is big Running Gag.
