How do you get media files onto developer phone?

I connected my development device to my PC (Windows 8), and it started to install some device drivers. Afterward, it forced me to reboot. After rebooting, the devic wasn't showing up USB mass storage device like most other phones do. It showed up as an SLP device.

Copy the files to sd card, and put the card into devices.

You can also you sdb (comes with the Tizen SDK) to push files onto the device.

Use a tools called as "Smart Development Bridge" (tizen-sdk/tools/sdb.exe) or "Connection Explorer" in IDE. Media files available to the user are stored in the folder "/opt/usr/media/". There are folders called as "Sounds", "Images", "Videos" and others. Use the "push the file to .." or "pull the content from ..". Works on both the emulator (tested in sdk 2.0) and on the device (using the sdk 2.1)
