I'm an experienced embedded app developer, but new to the Smartwatch scene. Here is what I want to do:
1) Pair a generic BlueTooth device (BlueGiga WT12-A classic) with a standalone smartwatch (preferablly with the SPP protocol)
2) Create an app on the smartwatch that can communicate with the WT12-A to pass real-time information back and forth
3) The app on the smartwatch would be able to display information on the smartwatch screen
Other SDK development kits I have looked into don't seem to be able to do this, as they require proprietary connections with either an Android or iPhone OS to establish the BlueTooth connection. I'm hopeful that maybe an app developed with the Tizen SDK won't require this, and I can develop a standalone app on the smartwatch that can communicate directly with my generic Bluetooth Classic device.
So, my two questions are:
1) Is this possible?
2) If so, are there any consultants out there who would be able to help me on a fee basis?
Thanks in advance.
