Gear S3 WiFi picker app freezes after update to 3.0

It is weeks or months since I updated my Gear S3 to Tizen 3.0. After update Wifi picker app (Settings-> Connection->Wi-Fi->Wi-Fi networks) freezes at startup.

I know that some Samsung guys are reading that forum, so please take care of that app.  Currently I can't test my apps related to Wi-Fi networks due to this buggy app.

Anyon can help? Any info about incomming update?

hi dev madrad, I have a Gear S3.. I have just checked..i have no problem to connect Wifi networks. Can you Reset your gear and try again? My Firmware/Software version: R765KOU2CQK1

IMHO this looks like test Firmware... not public released Version...

Public for Korea LTE family seems this:

Samsung.Tizen USER forum looks dead to me... and it is Z series Mobile related for end user... and we got never help...

Hey dev,

I am using a Gear S3 classic (R760) and havent faced this issue with Wi-Fi network.

After resetting, if you are still facing the issue, my suggestion is to visit the nearest Samsung service center to get the latest version of firmware comes with Tizen 3.0

The same issue for me, for months. It is impossible to enter the screen with details of the WiFi connection, because it freezes.

 

I need to check the IP of the watch using external apps.

I am sure you have already tried resetting the gear and still facing the issue.

if thats the case, please share your Gear SW version number and how often this freeze happens?
