Hi, When you update it, at-least it must hit the below statement Hit http://download.tizen.org Packages Even you can also check the list from the below path $ cd /var/lib/apt/lists/ $ ls you can see the line "download.tizen.org_tools_latest-release_Ubuntu%5f12.10_Packages " - where "lthor" package details available Please check your internet connection, and try to open the http://download.tizen.org/ from browser. If you are not able to connect to http://download.tizen.org/, then its internet connection problem. Even I faced the same problem, when internet connection was not there, the "http://download.tizen.org Packages " was not hit. ~Sanjana T S

There seems to be no problem with the internet connection. However,i downloaded the lthor_1.3ubuntu1_amd64.deb manually and installed lthor manually. It has been properly installed but i am still not able to flash. I am following the below link: https://source.tizen.org/documentation/reference/flash-device other details: I am working with Ubuntu 12.04 (64bit x86_64). Device & Image : Ref.Device-210 : http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.0/tizen-2.0_20130218.10/images/RD-210/RD-210-tizen-2.0_20130218.10.tar.gz What's this : Make sure you're running lthor in 32-bit environment (as per the link) When i run the below command nothing happens and no error is shown .....the cursor simply moves to the next line in the terminal : user@user:~/Desktop/Shared_Folder$ sudo ./lthor RD-210-tizen-2.0_20130218.10.tar user@user:~/Desktop/Shared_Folder$

Hi,
I get the error: Unable to locate package lthor.

Where did you download lthor_1.3ubuntu1_amd64.deb from ?
Can't find it in the repository http://download.tizen.org/tools/latest-release/Ubuntu_12.10/amd64/ or /i386/

Thnx

T S

Hi Bruno Magalhaes,

You can find the lthor_1.3ubuntu1_amd64.deb in pre-release folder. It may not be good enough but you can give a try.

    https://download.tizen.org/tools/pre-release/Ubuntu_12.10/amd64/

NOTE:  Pre-release version of the tools are available in Pre-release folder, there before formal release. Please be aware of the tools in this folder may not be good enough.

Hi Siddharth Singh, After installing lthor a. Download the system binary. https://download.tizen.org/releases/system/Tizen_RD-210_System_20130716_1.tar b. Connect the device to the Linux machine in downloading mode and execute the following commands: a. sudo ./lthor Tizen_RD-210_System_20130716_1.tar (device will restart and need to bring back to download mode again.) b. sudo ./lthor RD-210-tizen-2.0_20130218.10.tar.gz Let the device restart and device is up. ~Sanjana T S

Hi Sanjana, Thanks for your reply! This is what i did : 1) Flashed the Tizen_Disk_Migration.tar : it was flashed sucessfully. 2) Tried flashing the system binary : It showed the same error as before (low memory)
