afaik Tizen 2.0 should be released within a month, with 2 updates/year.

The Tizen 2.0 Magnolia is planned for Jan. 2013 which would have Native APIs, more Web APIs, Security Enhancements, etc And the Tizen running phones can be expected sometimes in Q1 2013. Note: The current SDK 2.0 is a alpha release.
