I recently attempted to collect RSSI measurements at specific distances from a Bluetooth LE beacon during a scan using a Gear S2.  What I found is that the RSSI values fluctuate wildly and seem to be inconsistent regardless of distance from the beacon.  Is there any advice how to get more reliable RSSI values during a BLE scan, or is this just the nature of the device?
