Over and over.  I uninstalled Tizen SDK, and Tizen Wearable SDK.  Then reinstalled just the Tizen Wearable SDK.  Repeated same process.  Invalid password.  Endless combinations over and over.  Nothing.  I just need to test a freakin' app I made two months ago.  I don't care if I'm the author or signed or whatever, I just want the darn thing to run on my test device (Samsung Gear S).  Help, please.

While I am not clear what issue you are having, I agree that Tizen/Samsung have made the development process far too cumbersome for free lance developers.  The app certification process with the store is even more so.

Back to your password issue.  There are two certs and two passwords you need.  The first is the author cert.  The password for that will be your samsung account password.  Then there is the Device Profile which create the distributor cert.  The password for this is in the email containing the device profile xml.

good luck

Oh my... I think I've been using the wrong passwords this entire time.  Will try your instructions and post results.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head.  I'm a free lancer that just wants to take advantage of this platform.  I mean, I know how to do websites from scratch and have basically had this web-app I've been wanting to put on this thing for a while now as an installed (local) web app.  Literally, I just need an icon in the apps menu that launches this website.

It's just too many hoops to put some files on this thing, that's all I'm sayin'.  Regardless, thank you for your time in answering my post.

I also had this problem, and also missed the seperate password for the XML file.

Just wanted to give you credit for your helpful post! Thanks!
