I would like to know if is possible to listen events of OS such as BOOT, SET DATE or TIME, BATTERY STATE, …

Is there any API (Native and/or Web) for this?

Can I register some listener similar to DOM HTML events: “window.addEventListener(<event>, <my_function_callback>, …)”?
