Device Manager keeps crashing on mac OS 10.15.7

Trying to set up TV 5.5 with a local repository, but device manager keeps crashing

I've installed java several versions and most recently jdk 1.8.0 152

What am I missing? (see crash report attached)

Tips to fix-

Run Apple Diagnostics to determine a Hardware Issue.
Boot into Safe Mode to Fix Issues Caused by Any Software.
 Delete Software Update Caches.
Use First Aid of Disk Utility to Fix File-System Issues on a Drive.
 Reset NVRAM.
Uninstall Incompatible Apps.
