I worked around the installation crash issue, and I worked around HAxM installation issue by turning off Hyper-V.

Everything appears to be installed correctly. Windows shortcuts were created. The emulator runs as a standalone.

However, when I try to launch the IDE, it crashes immediately. The main program window doesn’t even come up. I get a Windows dialog instead.
