I posted the following question in the samsung forum, but still do not have an answer:
I’m trying to use HTML5 MSE/EME in my project for Samsung Smart TV. It is a web app project and I want to use DASH streams with my custom player which is based on MSE/EME. As it is mentioned in the documentation: http://developer.samsung.com/tv/develop/tutorials/html5w3c/mse-media-source-extensions-eme-encrypted-media-extensions it should be supported, but I can not get it working on a real device and emulator – the video tag is black and there is no sound and video. It works perfectly with the simulator. I was wondering if I’m missing something? I can provide a sample code and configuration if needed.
HTML5 MSE/EME supported?
