For several weeks, I have been able to successfully launch the Tizen Emulator on my Dell Latitude D830 (Intel) Windows XP laptop.

However, as of today, every time I launch the emulator it displays a dialog-box saying “amd has closed unexpectedly“.

When I press the “Close” button on the dialog-box, the dialog-box is dismissed and the emulator just sits there with a black screen.

I have tried shutting down and restarting my laptop, and the problem still occurs.

Enabling/Disabling “HW Virtualization” in the emulator configuration does not make any difference.

I can’t find any mention of this problem on the Tizen Forums, the Tizen bug reporting site, or by general Googling for the issue.

Can anyone help resolve this issue ?
