I have created certification for my Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 device via “Register Certificate” -feature in my Tizen IDE for Wearable numerous times. Every time I try to “Permit installations on my device” I receive the error “Certificate has not been registered yet”. Despite this, I am able to run my application on my Gear 2 via project’s “Run as” -option if I first deleted the .metadata folder from project’s workspace which also resets the Security profiles. Due to this, I have been able to develop my application further, but now I need to use different privileges of the device such as read and write. This is not possible as I receive “Signature Invalid” error. Thus I really need to have the certification working now.
This is what I have already tried with the certification:
– Redo the certification process again over numerous times
– Try with different certification types
– Check that the device-profile XML has the right device ID as TestDevice attribute.
– Tried with two different computers (Mac and Windows)
– Insert the device-profile-xxxxxx.xml file in to the home/developer folder of the watch
One thing I noticed is that in all of the the device-profile-xxxxx.xml files that I have received from Samsung I have these lines:
Certificate has not been registered yet
Hey!
<AuthorInformation>
<Certificate>NONE</Certificate>
</AuthorInformation>
Is this the way it should be before I add the device-profile.xml via the Register Certificate feature?
– AS I have Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 device, should I be using legacy certificate? If I should, where do I get this?
Could you please give me some guidance and tell me what I am possibly doing wrong here so I can continue with my developing process. Thank you.
