Tizen 2.1, APIs with non-public privilege levels: how to develop?
BY 15 May 2013Web Application Development
Tizen 2.1 (now in Beta) introduced APIs with non-public privilege levels: partner and platform. Their usage requires special developer status in the Tizen store.
Is it possible to develop applications that use the privileged API, and run them in a debugging environment (e.g. emulator), without having this special status (e.g. in the emulator)? It is understood that this special status will have to be acquired before the app is distributed.
