I’m adding my companies new Tizen app to our continuous integration pipeline. I do so leveraging kubernetes and docker containers. I found the documentation on using the gnome-keyring with docker. However, adding custom security configurations to my pods is overly cumbersome. Most CI pipelines operate something like, get the secrets (keys, passwords etc) and passing them at runtime, creating a new security profile every build. In my scenario I can’t think of any reasons it would be no more risky to ditch the keychain requirement all together.
I’d love to hear if the Tizen team would be willing to support an alternative to gnome-keychain (IPC_LOCK) for CI systems.
Support signing packages without keyrings
